How do you Manage New Device Onboarding?

It is a simple 3 step process to purchase a new device and have it configured for use.

Step 1: Purchase a new device

New devices can be purchased through our online portal. We have a curated list of business-grade hardware that meets the needs of our clients. This makes for easy purchasing and deployment of devices for new and existing employees. Learn more about How Your MSP Can Deliver Concierge Procurement

If you wish to purchase a device on your own, please make sure you refer to your Net Friends contract to determine what devices are recommended.

Step 2: Onboard the new device

Net Friends-Purchased Devices: We will ship your device and help you get it provisioned.

Customer-Purchased Devices: Our team will remotely configure your device after you receive it. We will work closely with your organization to ensure a smooth setup.

In both cases, we will configure the new device to match your existing setup as closely as possible, including software and permissions.

Please note: We will not customize your device to your preferences, and our standard service does not include data transfer from an existing hard drive. For more details on white-glove services, please refer to What is white glove device onboarding?

Step 3: Follow Up

We strive for a seamless onboarding experience for every new device. If you encounter any issues, please submit a ticket through the ticketing portal. Our technicians are ready to assist you. In rare cases, there might be missing software or permissions. Do not hesitate to contact us for immediate support.
